 In this book, five stories are included. So, I will introduce three stories of the book with three quotes. The first story is Room 13. The main character of this story is Anderson stayed in The Golden Lion Inn and choose room number 12. 13 is an unlucky number, so people don't stay in the room. One day, he saw a person who is in room 13. He was surprised when he went to the next room. The next room was number 14!  I surprised, too. I can't believe that room 13 disappeared, because it is impossible. He wanteto know that who is in the room and asked the landlord. The landlord said that It must be Mr. Jensen and he must be  ill. Anderson and Jensen was annoyed because of the room 13.  In the next morning, they find papers belonged to Nicolas Franken who disappeared in 1560 and the paper was written in blood!   Mia is a high school student. Her mother gave her a diary and asked to write down her feelings.   This story goes based on the diary. By words in the book, I thought Mia is not confident in herself. I was very surprised to read that. She was upset because father said that she have to leave New York and live in Genovia.  　　　　　Today, I read "The Adventure of Tom Sawyer". It was an interesting story for me and there are funny characters. The leading character of this story is Tom Sawyer. He likes to play a prank. But, I thought he is an honesty boy.  I will tell you about this interesting story, quoting three sentences. First,  The boys went to the jail every day. In the Chapter 6, Tom and Huck saw Injun Joe murders Doctor Robinson. Muff Potter is falsely charged. They know Muff Potter didn't murder the doctor, so they went to the jail every morning to meet Muff Potter and they gave tobacco and matches. I thought they are a little honest by this scene. But, they couldn't tell the truth because they were frightening Injun Joe.  Second,  The three dead boys walked along the aisle. Tom, Huck and Joe went an island without saying anything so three boys were thought that they are dead and the funeral was held. This is the scene they come to the funeral.   I wrote about this book last week. I will tell you about the chapter 5  of the book. 　　 Travel in San Francisco is very exciting. Many people come to the city every year. There are many hills across the city. Some of these are very steep. So, the most famous road on a steep hill in San Francisco is Lombard Street. It is a long road on Russian Hill. In 1922, people made the road go from side to side down the hill. This is easier for drives, but they need to drive from one side to the other side to the other eight times. San Francisco is also different from any big American cities. It does not have any big roads, so more people go by bus or walk.       A walk in the city is always good. This week, I read “ San Francisco “ . In this book, many features of San Francisco are written. If you read this book, you will want to go to there!
