Summary of the chapter 5 of San Francisco
I wrote about this book last week. I will tell you about the chapter 5 of the book. Travel in San Francisco is very exciting. Many people come to the city every year. There are many hills across the city. Some of these are very steep. So, the most famous road on a steep hill in San Francisco is Lombard Street. It is a long road on Russian Hill. In 1922, people made the road go from side to side down the hill. This is easier for drives, but they need to drive from one side to the other side to the other eight times. San Francisco is also different from any big American cities. It does not have any big roads, so more people go by bus or walk. A walk in the city is always good. There are wonderful views and nice buildings. For example, in the Haight Ashbury neighborhood there are the beautiful old house. They are in different colours.
